
COOPER ISD BOND ELECTION
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, voters in Cooper ISD will vote on the district’s $23,270,330 bond election.
Why is Cooper ISD having a bond election?
Working with the Board of Trustees, teachers, and administrators from across the district, the Facility Planning Committee developed a list of items to consider for inclusion in a bond package. The District has been evaluating current facilities and equipment, ongoing enrollment, and growth.

Using a comprehensive survey by Zonda Demographics, Cooper ISD is forecasted to enroll approximately 960 students by 2029/30 and almost 1,000 by 2034/35.

The District-Wide Multi-Purpose Center will primarily be utilized by programs including fine arts, band, sports medicine, color guard, STEM, and athletics (baseball/softball, track, cheer, football, etc.). Other uses for the 50-yard turf field facility include a locker room, weight room, storage, CTE classrooms, Special Olympics, field day, community events, and various elementary activities.

This will include a new traffic flow with pick-up and drop-off lanes at the elementary school campus.
Cooper ISD is Growing!
Using a comprehensive report by Zonda Demographics, the Junior High is currently operating over capacity. It is projected that the District will enroll approximately 1,000 students by the 2034/35 school year.
*Cooper ISD has utilized Maintenance and Operations (M&O) funds for capital improvement projects, including the Elementary School Storm Shelter Addition, which supports anticipated growth.
